Initial Site Survey
Line of sight is required for wireless operation. Because of this reason an initial site survey is required to determine if signal is available at your location. We can install the antenna almost anywhere that we have a clear shot of the tower located at Holden office. It could be in a window, on your TV antenna post, or on top of your barn. The most important thing to remember is wherever we mount the antenna there must be a clear view of our tower. The $50 site survey cost is applied towards the setup fee and refunded if we cannot get significant signal strength to operate.

Each installation is unique and so the setup fees will vary. We do this to bring each individual the lowest price possible for their installation. Please contact us to schedule a site survey to determine setup fees.

Professional Installation services include the antenna, antenna cabling to the wireless radio, & configuration of the wireless radio. We will help you configure 1 computer or 1 firewall to communicate with the wireless radio. Any other onsite configuration you may need help with will be billed at our normal rates and added to your setup fee. If you need telephone support, call us. We are here to help and of course our telephone tech support is always free.

Your computer must have an Ethernet network interface card. We recommend installing a hardware firewall or a network device that is capable of Network Address Translation (NAT) to hide your computer(s) from the outside world but it is not required unless connecting more than one computer. You should also own your own home or building where the wireless will be installed or have land lord permission for installation.
